AHIC returns to Dubai this year as a part of the Future Hospitality Summit.
Running for six successful years, the Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) established itself to be world's leading restaurant investment forum attracting exciting and influential F&B personalities keen to share their knowledge and recipes for success with influential investors and municipalities.
GRIF is scheduled to take place at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai this year.
As part of the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum, the AHIF Marketspace is a series of short events that focus on specific regions in Morocco and discover more about the country and the investable projects.
It acts as an online platform for investors and developers where they can review investable projects, read full project profiles including details on the vision, project duration, investment required and IRR rates. They can also request private meetings with the project owner to find out more about the project at their convenience.
AHIF Marketspace takes place at FHS this year, followed by AHIF on 2-4 November 2022 at Fairmont Taghazout Bay, Morocco.
Lead the Change is an open-mic session taking place at FHS, that allows the participants to present how they are leading the change in hospitality through innovation, leadership, or sustainable practices.
Sally Alkatat, Senior Manager Development, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts, won the competition at FHS Saudi Arabia.
"The Lead the Change session was definitely an eye-opener to learn from key industry players about the impact of the ongoing change on their day-to-day business and lives and the need to adapt to it. I was impressed with the creative initiatives shared and highly encourage every person looking to catch the wave and lead it to participate," Sally said about the session.
The Sustainable Hospitality Challenge is a Hotelschool The Hague initiative that aims to enhance the evolution of sustainable hospitality, foster innovation driven by the leaders of tomorrow and nurture talent on a global scale by bringing it close to industry organizations who want to reimagine the future of hospitality.

The winner of this year’s challenge will present their innovative sustainability project at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai.
Hospitality startups built on innovative and sustainable business models pitch their ideas to a panel of judges consisting of senior decision-makers and C-level executives from top hospitality brands around the world.
The Startup Den takes place at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai this year.
Babette Marzheuser-Wood from Dentons will conduct a workshop on creating and executing business ideas that are based on the franchising model.
The workshop has been a part of GRIF previously and will now take place on the first day of FHS in Dubai.
