With more than 40 years of experience in hospitality, David Thomson is one of the industry’s most accomplished hotel professionals. Appointed Senior Vice President of TFG Hospitality in 2019, he leads the strategic development and expansion of its international portfolio. As a third-party operator, TFG Hospitality partners with hotel owners and leading global brands to maximise asset performance and long-term value. Its growing portfolio includes hotels and restaurants across the GCC and Eastern Europe, including landmark developments such as Ciel Dubai Marina, the world’s tallest hotel and a Vignette Collection by IHG, and continues to expand across high-growth markets, with 11 HMAs recently signed in Ethiopia. David brings extensive operational and leadership expertise, combined with a strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset. Working closely with owners, he and his team ensure each asset is managed with a clear focus on performance, delivering optimal results and sustainable returns while driving the continued growth of TFG Hospitality across diverse markets.
