Laura Gasca Beltrán is a Senior Project Specialist at UN Tourism, where she leads initiatives focused on tourism investment, sustainable development and sector innovation. Her work supports governments and industry stakeholders in strengthening tourism investment ecosystems and mobilizing capital into emerging destinations. She holds a degree in International Relations from Universidad del Rosario and a Master’s in Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, with a focus on sustainable development and nation branding. Before joining UN Tourism, she worked at ProColombia (Colombian Promotion Agency), leading international market research and investment promotion initiatives. She later worked in international innovation consultancies, including Bax & Company, supporting public authorities and research institutions on mobility and technological transition projects, and A Piece of Pie – Meaningful Impact, conducting strategic research for clients in the pharmaceutical, technology and communications sectors.
