Melisa Pezuk is AMAALA’s Head of Development at Red Sea Global (RSG), a closed joint stock company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund. A Visionary Leader in Destination Development, Cultural Infrastructure, and Strategic Urban Transformation Melisa Pezuk is a globally recognized development strategist with over 20 years of experience driving iconic, large-scale projects across the Middle East. She currently leads as Head of Development for AMAALA at Red Sea Global, where she oversees one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious ultra-luxury regenerative tourism destinations. Previously, Melisa held executive leadership roles within Red Sea Global as Senior Executive Director and Executive Director of Development, directing master planning, hospitality, and cultural infrastructure for high-impact initiatives. Her earlier role as Vice President of Development at DIFC saw her shaping urban financial hubs that blend innovation and sustainability. Her distinguished tenure at TDIC included spearheading museum and heritage precincts, most notably in Abu Dhabi’s cultural district. With formative leadership at Sama Dubai, and design roles at U.S.-based firms HGA, RNL Design, and Gifford Spurck, Melisa brings architectural vision and global executional experience. A trained architect with a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's in Architecture from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi , Melisa is known for leading teams across diverse geographies, balancing design integrity with strategic outcomes. Her work defines the intersection of art, culture, sustainability, and built environments—positioning her as one of the region’s most accomplished and influential figures in development.
