Laura Leyva is a driven hospitality professional currently completing her general internship with Kempinski Mall of the Emirates, where she supports the Executive Lounge team as a Hostess. Her performance has been consistently satisfactory, and she continues to gain hands-on experience serving VIP and VVIP guests in one of Dubai’s leading luxury environments. During her internship, she has actively engaged with the region’s business and innovation ecosystem, attending key events such as Private Label Middle East, ISM Middle East, and GITEX, where she explored sustainability solutions and new business opportunities for the hotel. Originally from Cuba, Laura has built a strong foundation in the food and beverage sector, holding commercial executive roles with brands such as Diluna Ice Cream and major distributors serving hotels in Varadero and Cayo Santa María. She has also represented Cuban brands at international exhibitions including PaCuba Fest, HostelCuba 2025, and FIHAV. Her professional background extends into finance, having completed a remote internship in private equity with 747 Capital (U.S.), which strengthened her analytical and strategic perspective on business. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management and is in the process of transferring to the University of London through a dual program with CUJAE University in Cuba. Passionate about cultural exchange, sustainability, and the evolution of luxury hospitality, Laura represents a new generation of professionals dedicated to creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences around the world.
