Omar Issa is a seasoned hospitality strategy executive with over 15 years of experience spanning the full hospitality value chain—from investment and development to operations and asset management. As Vice President of Strategy at TAIBA Investments, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading hospitality investment and development companies, he plays a central role in shaping the company’s growth agenda, driving post-merger strategy development, and leveraging TAIBA’s position as a leader in Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving tourism landscape. Previously, Omar served as Senior Director of Strategy at Dur Hospitality, where he led the development and multi-year execution of the company’s corporate strategy—positioning Dur to capitalize on Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 transformation. His work encompassed strategic planning, performance management, and the alignment of investment priorities to emerging opportunities across the tourism and real estate sectors, culminating in the successful merger between Dur and TAIBA. He has contributed to landmark partnerships and investment programs across, as well as working closely with government entities and international hotel operators to unlock new opportunities in hospitality and tourism development. Omar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan.
