H.E. Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer is the Chief Executive Officer of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Dubai Men’s College, he began his career at Etisalat in 2002 before joining Al Qasba Development Authority in 2006. He played a pivotal role in Shurooq’s establishment and served as Chief Operating Officer from 2011. Appointed Acting CEO in 2022 and CEO by Emiri Decree in 2023, he is recognized for his strategic leadership in advancing Sharjah’s tourism and investment sectors. He also holds board positions at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park and the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club.
