Elaine Sun is the Accomodation Business Market Director for the Middle East and Africa at Trip.com Group. Based in Dubai, she leads the company's strategic hotel partnerships across the region, driving business growth, market expansion and commercial collaboration with leading international and regional hotel groups and alternative accomodations. With more than a decade of experience across hospitality and online travel, Elaine has played a key role in strengthening Trip.com Group's accommodation business in the Middle East and Africa since joining the company in 2019. Having progressed through several leadership positions, including Country Manager for the UAE, Account Director for MEA Chain Hotels and Market Director for the Middle East, she now oversees strategic partnerships across the Middle East and Africa, helping accomodation partners unlock growth. Prior to joining Trip.com Group, Elaine held commercial roles with Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), where she gained extensive experience in hospitality, global account management, events and partnerships. Her experience across leading international hospitality brands has given her deep expertise in hotel commercial strategy, revenue generation and building long-term relationships with hotel partners across diverse markets. Elaine can comment on hospitality trends, hotel distribution, digital transformation, evolving traveller expectations, hotel partnerships and the role of technology in driving sustainable growth across the accommodation sector. Her expertise combines a strong understanding of hotel commercial strategy with extensive experience working across both global hotel brands and online travel platforms.
