Eddy Tannous Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rotana Appointed: August 2023 Eddy Tannous is the Chief Operating Officer of Rotana, one of the Middle East’s most prominent hospitality groups, managing over 114 properties in operation and under development across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye. A results-driven executive with more than two decades of experience in hotel operations, Eddy Tannous plays a central role in orchestrating Rotana’s regional growth, operational performance, and service excellence. Since joining Rotana in 2023, Eddy Tannous has been responsible for leading the group’s expansion momentum—overseeing property openings, harmonising operational standards across markets, and embedding a culture of efficiency and accountability across all hotels and brand segments. His leadership is instrumental in ensuring that every Rotana property delivers on the brand’s enduring promise of Treasured Time, while maintaining operational rigour and market relevance. Eddy Tannous brings with him a proven track record of driving performance at scale, having previously served as Senior Vice President, Operations at Fairmont Hotels, where he oversaw the brand’s footprint across the Middle East and Asia. Before that, he held the role of Vice President, Operations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Accor, where he led the country’s largest hospitality portfolio with over 40 operating hotels and 40 in the pipeline—steering complex projects and ensuring consistency across diverse assets. With deep regional insight and a sharp operational mindset, Eddy Tannous is focused on reinforcing Rotana’s global competitiveness—ensuring that its six distinct brands, from luxury to long-stay, operate with precision, purpose, and performance-led excellence. Under his operational leadership, Rotana continues to strengthen its position as a trusted and innovative hospitality partner across key markets.
