The Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Saudi Arabia 2025 is officially underway at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh, taking place from 11-13 May.

Under the theme “Where Vision Shapes Opportunity,” FHS Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s most influential hospitality investment conference, brings together hospitality leaders, investors and decision-makers to discuss hotel performance and development, the outlook for hospitality investment in the Kingdom and the key market trends driving the sector.

The official opening remarks were delivered this morning by His Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud, Secretary General, King Faisal Foundation (KFF) and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Al Khozama Investment Company.

The address was delivered in the distinguished presence of Mahmoud Abdulhadi, Deputy minister of tourism for destination enablement, Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia, who also took to the stage to discuss “Where Vision Shapes Opportunity”.

The FHS Saudi Arabia program, which covers everything from start-ups to staffing and innovation to investment over three days, features 150+ speakers across 80 sessions in 18 different content tracks, covering key themes including Investment, Financing & Real Estate, Destination Development, Technology & Innovation, Sustainability & ESG, and Luxury, F&B and Experiential Hospitality.

The event kicked off yesterday with the launch of the NextGen: Investment Forum, a brand new, first-of-its-kind event that tackled the key issues and opportunities surrounding education, training, and talent retention in Saudi Arabia's hospitality industry. With 1 million new tourism jobs predicted by 2030 and 320,000 new hotel rooms, investing in the next generation of leaders in hospitality is fundamental to delivering KSA’s Vision 2030 goals.

The action-packed agenda features a wide variety of session formats from main stage keynotes, panel discussions and exclusive leadership conversations, master classes, roundtable discussions and networking sessions. In addition to the main conference programme a record number of signing ceremonies for new projects and partnerships are set to take place this year, following USD$ 1.1 billion in business opportunities announced at FHS Saudi Arabia in 2024.

انطلقت رسميًا فعاليات قمة مستقبل الضيافة السعودية 2025 (FHS Saudi Arabia) في فندق ماندارين أورينتال الفيصلية بالرياض، وتستمر خلال الفترة من 11 إلى 13 مايو.

تُعقد قمة هذا العام تحت شعار "الرؤية التي تصنع الفرص"، باعتبارها القمة الأبرز للاستثمار في قطاع الضيافة بالمملكة، حيث تجمع تحت مظلتها نخبة من قادة القطاع والمستثمرين وصناع القرار، لبحث أداء السوق، استكشاف آفاق الاستثمار، ورصد أبرز الاتجاهات التي تشكل مستقبل القطاع.

شهدت الجلسة الافتتاحية كلمة ألقاها صاحب السمو الأمير بندر بن سعود بن خالد آل سعود، الأمين العام لمؤسسة الملك فيصل، ورئيس مجلس إدارة شركة الخزامى للاستثمار، حيث قال:

"إن الضيافة في المملكة لم تعد تقتصر على البنية التحتية أو تقديم الخدمات، بل أصبحت تعبيرًا عن الهوية والثقافة السعودية وتطوير الكوادر الوطنية، ورؤية القيادة المستقبلية. إنها فرصة لشعبنا لرواية قصته، وصناعة تجربة لا تُنسى لكل من يزور هذه الأرض".

كما ألقى سعادة المهندس محمود عبدالهادي، وكيل وزارة السياحة لتمكين الوجهات السياحية، كلمة خلال القمة، وشارك في جلسة حوارية بعنوان "حيث تشكّل الرؤية الفرص".

تتضمن أجندة القمة أكثر من 150 متحدثًا عبر 80 جلسة حوارية و 18 مسارًا مختلفًا تغطي محاور حيوية، أبرزها: الاستثمار والتمويل والعقارات، تطوير الوجهات السياحية، التكنولوجيا والابتكار، الاستدامة والمعايير البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة (ESG)، والضيافة الفاخرة والمأكولات.

وعلّق جوناثان وورزلي، رئيس مجلس إدارة The Bench – الجهة المنظمة للقمة – بقوله:

"يسعدنا العودة إلى ماندارين أورينتال الفيصلية بالرياض، بدعم من شريكنا شركة الخزامى للاستثمار. ونتطلع إلى أيام مليئة بالنقاشات الثرية والرؤى الملهمة، بمشاركة نخبة من قادة القطاع الذين يسهمون في رسم مستقبل الضيافة في المنطقة".

من جانبه، قال الأستاذ خالد سعود أبوحيمد، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الخزامى للاستثمار:

"تجسّد شراكتنا مع قمة مستقبل الضيافة التزامنا بالمساهمة في تطوير قطاع الضيافة وتعزيز الاستثمار فيه".

وكانت فعاليات القمة قد انطلقت يوم أمس بإطلاق منتدى “NextGen” للاستثمار، الحدث الأول من نوعه الذي يناقش قضايا التعليم والتدريب واستقطاب الكفاءات في قطاع الضيافة السعودي. ومع التوقعات بخلق مليون وظيفة سياحية جديدة بحلول عام 2030، وإضافة 320 ألف غرفة فندقية جديدة، يشكّل الاستثمار في الجيل القادم من قادة الضيافة ركيزة أساسية لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.

يتضمن جدول أعمال القمة جلسات حوارية، ورش عمل، وفرص تواصل بين المشاركين. كما يُتوقع هذا العام تسجيل رقم قياسي في توقيع اتفاقيات مشاريع وشراكات، استمرارًا للفرص الاستثمارية التي تجاوزت 1.1 مليار دولار خلال نسخة عام 2024.
