Craig Seaman is the founder and CEO of Index Hotels, with over 35 years of hospitality industry experience and a Hotel Management qualification from Cornell University. His career encompasses key management roles at Southern Sun, Sun International, and as the first General Manager at Spier in Stellenbosch, where he developed a renowned wine estate and resort. Craig led HS&V Hospitality's transformation of boutique hotels in South Africa and Germany. Over a decade ago, he expanded to West Africa, consulting for Fiesta Hotels and developing Fiesta Residences. In 2019, he established Index Hotels to manage and develop independent hotels in Africa, focusing on comprehensive management, marketing, revenue optimization, and brand development. Craig's leadership extends to industry roles such as Vice President of the Cape Chamber of Commerce and contributions to Stellenbosch tourism organisations.
