Ms. Hapiloe Sello holds a master’s in international business and marketing Management awarded by TiasNimbas in the Netherlands, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, awarded by Wits Business School South Africa and Bachelor of Arts, awarded by National University of Lesotho in Lesotho. Hapiloe is a well-qualified and seasoned executive with extensive business experience and a strong background in tourism, consumer research, marketing, strategy, and business development. She brings pragmatism to marketing without sacrificing innovation and excels in the development and the execution of strategies and tactics that engage target markets compellingly whilst ensuring revenue and shareholder value growth. She is driven by a passion for market research and understanding the criticality thereof, her approach to strategy development is founded on insights wrought by comprehensive market intelligence. With a career spanning over 4 decades in diverse professional settings, she developed strong relationship building skills and comfortable in managing relationships at all levels of both the corporate and public sector world. She is the first black female CEO of South African National Parks. ABOUT SANPARKS SANParks a government conservation authority in terms of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act, 2003 (Act 57 of 2003) Its mandate is to conserve, protect, control and manage national parks and other defined protected areas and their biological diversity (biodiversity). SANParks manages a system of 20 functional national parks in seven of the nine provinces of South Africa, with total area of over 4 million hectares, comprising 67% of the protected areas under state management. SANParks falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE).
