Alfred Kirigha, the CEO of the Taita Taveta Wildlife Conservancies Association, is a highly dedicated conservationist with over 9 years of experience working in the Tsavo Landscape in Kenya. He has successfully contributed to the growth and development of the Taita Taveta Wildlife Conservancies Association (TTWCA). TTWCA is the association body for the conservancies and ranches in the Taita Taveta County, currently a renowned conservation player in the Tsavo Ecosystem. TTWCA seeks to have a unified, healthy and connected Tsavo landscape that supports both communities and wildlife advancement and growth. In addition to his excellent leadership and partnership-building abilities, Alfred has also cultivated a skilled team that shares his passion for conservation, and together, they have delivered impactful projects that have made a significant and tangible difference in the restoration of rangelands, wildlife management, community empowerment and biodiversity preservation. With a deep commitment to conservation, Alfred seeks to create sustainable solutions that promote the coexistence of wildlife and communities while ensuring the long-term ecological integrity of the Tsavo ecosystem. Through his work, He aims to contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, the empowerment of local communities, and the overall well-being of the region. Alfred is keen on collaborations and partnerships which offer opportunities related to the conservation in the Tsavo landscape; he is eager to connect and explore ways to make a positive impact together.
