As a Managing Director in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Maher Abou Nasr is responsible for driving performance across the company’s current portfolio of 48 hotels in the country, with a lens of operational excellence, building stronger owner relationships, driving greater owner returns, and developing the national talent. He is also leading the company's efforts on renovations and upgrading IHG's current hotel portfolio in the country as well as driving the sustainability agenda as part of 'Journey to Tomorrow', IHG's 10-year responsible business plan. An industry veteran with experience of over 26 years, Maher has been with IHG for over a decade. He started his career with the company as Regional Director, Finance & Business Support for our operations in the UAE, Near East & Africa region. He then served as Director Development for Middle East and Africa, working closely with owners and partners across the region with a special focus on Saudi Arabia. Maher holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Manchester
