Stephen Cheesebrough is the Red Sea destination's Head of Development at Red Sea Global (RSG). Stephen leads the development of The Red Sea destination, one of the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations. His role spans the planning, development, and delivery of integrated resort communities, setting new benchmarks for sustainable tourism and luxury living in Saudi Arabia. Joining the company in 2018, he is responsible for overseeing asset business planning, master planning, design and delivery of all real estate projects within The Red Sea with a particular focus on hospitality, residential and experiential assets, and operator selection for The Red Sea’s portfolio as well as The Red Sea’s employee village. With over 20 years of global real estate experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Stephen has a proven track record in development, asset management, master planning, investment strategy, and operational leadership. Prior to joining RSG, he held senior roles at Al Ghurair Properties, Sultan Investments, and Kublai Holdings, managing multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolios and large-scale development projects. Stephen began his real estate career in Europe, co-founding a successful property investment firm before transitioning into senior leadership roles in the Middle East. Stephen brings a strategic, entrepreneurial approach to RSG, ensuring the destination’s developments are not only world-class but also aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for sustainable growth.
