Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Khan Al-Hashimi is currently serving as the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Sumou Investment Global, where he leads strategic development initiatives, investment platforms, and partnerships across a group of affiliated companies. He also holds the position of Director of Engineering Affairs at Sumou Real Estate, overseeing seven technical departments and aligning engineering services with the organization’s strategic goals.With over 18 years of international and local experience across academic, professional, and executive leadership roles, Dr. Al-Hashimi specializes in sustainable architecture, urbanism, public-private partnerships, governance, and real estate development. His interdisciplinary expertise spans business development, urban policy, team building, and project execution.Dr. Al-Hashimi began his international career in France in 2009 with Poly Rythmic Architecture and has since played leading roles in iconic projects across Europe and the Middle East. He has also served in academia as an Assistant Professor, Department Chair, Vice Dean, and Acting Dean at King Abdulaziz University. Notably, he was a Member of the Recruitment and Appointment Committee at the university, contributing to faculty development and academic excellence.He is the founder of Poly Manners Architecture, a creative and research-driven design house, and a key advisor to several governmental and private institutions.
