Alexey Korobkin, Senior Director Development Middle East & Africa Alexey leads IHG Hotels & Resorts’ development across the Middle East & Africa, driving the expansion of IHG’s diverse brand portfolio and forging key partnerships to accelerate growth in the region. Previously, Alexey served as a Senior Development Director for IHG in Russia. Prior to joining IHG, Alexey worked in development at Azimut Hotels, Marriott International and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for almost 10 years. In that time, Alexey helped to expand the portfolio of brands in the region as well as drive strong returns for owners. Prior to working in hotel development, Alexey headed up the Moscow Consulting & Valuation practice of HVS Global Hospitality Services, where he specialized in strategic consulting, valuations and investment advisory across Russia & the CIS. Alexey also worked for various hotel management companies within the hospitality industry across Europe, the US and Russia and served in such operational departments as Rooms Division, Revenue Management and Food & Beverage. Alexey obtained BSc Economics and Finance from the University of London, as well as an MBA in Hotel Management from César Ritz, Switzerland.
