Future Leader Award at FHS World

EHL Hospitality Business School and FHS World have joined hands to recognise young individuals who have created a significant impact on the global hospitality industry or their company at a young age and stand as an inspiration to their peers and other industry colleagues.

The Future Leader Award is dedicated to individuals, 35 years old and younger, who exemplify the next generation of hospitality leaders on a global scale.

Award Criteria

The Future Leader Award honours outstanding individuals who are 35 years old and younger, and serve as exemplary leaders in the global hospitality industry. We seek candidates whose career path or impactful initiatives demonstrate a commitment to change and notable achievements at a young age.

Criteria for Nomination:

The candidate must,

  • Be born after 27 October 1990.
  • Be working within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrate significant leadership and innovation in their role.
  • Have made a notable impact on the global hospitality industry.
  • Be nominated by their peers or line manager - “Referee”.

Award Timeline:

Two-Round Nomination Process:

  • Round 1: Selected candidates that make it through the initial application process will be informed in the last week of September.
  • Round 2: Finalists will be required to submit a 2-minute video answering a key question related to their success in the industry.

Candidates who successfully pass Round 1 of the application process will receive a 20% discount on EHL’s 5-week online training courses or 3-day on-campus programs in Lausanne.

Prize Details:

  • A 5-week EHL online training course (valued at $2,800), or
  • A 3-day on-campus program in Lausanne (valued at $3,150, with on-campus lunch included)
