Alessandra Priante is President of ENIT, the Italian Tourism Board. An economist with strong international and diplomatic experience, she was the first woman and first Italian to serve as Director for Europe at the UN Tourism agency. She led key initiatives during the pandemic, including the Global Tourism Crisis Committee and #RestartTourism. A graduate of Bocconi with two Master’s degrees and fluent in six languages, she previously led a five-year diplomatic mission in the Gulf to promote Italy’s cultural and educational heritage. She played a central role in shaping Italy’s tourism strategy and governance reforms. She teaches at Luiss Business School and is passionate about art, cinema, music, cuisine, and travel.
