ATUL CHOPRA BIO Atul Chopra is a purpose-driven entrepreneur, Chartered Accountant, and Lawyer with a career that bridges finance, technology, and sustainability. Early in his journey, he led investment banking and project finance initiatives, later building a 700+ engineer IT product company in India that attracted IFC (World Bank Group) investment and scaled across emerging markets before his successful exit in 2012. Inspired by the urgent need to address climate change and food system resilience, Atul founded FreshOnTable (www.freshontable.com) in 2018. Today, the AgriTech platform is transforming the GCC’s food security and sustainability landscape by connecting 200+ small and medium-sized farms with 400+ leading hotels and fine-dining establishments, including Hilton, Hyatt, Accor, and Atlantis. Its hyperlocal, zero-waste model leverages AI, blockchain, and IoT to cut food miles, reduce carbon emissions, and empower communities. Named MENA’s No. 1 F&B Game Changer (Caterer Magazine, 2021), Atul continues to champion purpose-led innovation. He serves on the Advisory Board of the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards and is recognized for making sustainability a profitable reality for businesses and the planet.
