Klaus Assmann, CEO of Aldar Hospitality, brings a wealth of experience with over 35 years in the global hospitality industry.

His career spans in multiple international locations including London, New York, San Francisco, Hamburg, Manila, Phuket, and the UAE in different disciplines including hospitality, asset management, and development. He worked with international operators like Nikko Hotels, Park Hyatt, Shangri-La, Jumeirah, Sofitel, and Fairmont in the capacity of Director F&B, GM, Cluster GM, VP, and SVP.

Klaus is responsible for leading Aldar Hospitality currently comprising 13 Hotels plus 2 under development and 2 asset-managed Hotels (totaling 5000 rooms), 3 Golf Clubs, 3 Beach Clubs, and 3 Marinas whilst enhancing the overall performance of the company’s portfolio.

In his role, he will be optimizing the operating potential and maximizing the value of the assets through a series of activities that span from operational asset management to CAPEX enhancements while creating unique customer experiences.

Aldar Hospitality’s portfolio features both managed and self-operated businesses that span from 3* to 5* hotels and resorts. Currently, Aldar Hospitality manages and franchises from Hilton, Marriott, Accor, IHG, Radisson, Rotana, and Minor.
